Are you interested in obtaining a Concealed Carry (CCW) license? Then you will need to go through several certification courses beforehand. Gunshots Academy in Inland Empire offers several training courses that satisfy these requirements.

CCW Concealed Carry Training

You have every right to use your firearm for self-defense. Though we do not issue CCW permits at Gunshots Academy, we do offer a two-day class that involves classroom training and live fire training. It’s important to know that our concealed carry course meets or exceeds the requirements of San Bernardino County, Orange County, Ventura County, and Riverside County sheriff departments to obtain a CCW permit.

Maybe you’re wondering, “Is concealed carry training even worth the time and money?” Well, if you want to feel safe and secure in public, a CCW is absolutely a worthwhile investment. Those who enroll in this course will learn the skills necessary to counter a life-threatening attack outside the home.

Day one of our CCW course covers seven segments, from “Strategies for Personal Safety Outside the Home” and “Developing Basic Defense Shooting Skills” to “Developing Concealed Carry Skills” and “Self-Defense and the Law.” This hands-on classroom training prepares students for the all-important live fire training.

Day two of the concealed carry training at Gunshots Academy requires 300 rounds of ammunition for your firearm. This four-hour session gives students the opportunity to use a concealment garment, shoot from cover, shoot one-handed, and point shoot. Those who are more advanced will have the chance to move while shooting, shoot from low cover, and address targets to various directions.

Every concealed carry course at Gunshots Academy is taught by an experienced, certified instructor who makes student safety the top priority. As Inland Empire’s premier firearms training group, we will help you take the next step toward obtaining your CCW. Contact us today for more information.
