The following is a list of required firearms training equipment that you will need to bring to the live fire portion of each class.
For Handgun Classes:
- Quality functional semi-automatic pistol
- Three magazines minimum
- Modern double action revolver (Six-Shooter) with four loading devices (speed loaders, moon clips or speed strips)
- Belt mounted, dominant side holster
- Magazine holders/loading device pouch(es)
- Sturdy belt at least 1.5″ wide
- Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
- Clothing suitable for training in any weather/pants must have belt loops
- Eye protection
- Electronic hearing protection
For CCW Classes:
- All equipment listed for handgun classes (see above) plus the following:
- Concealment garments (mandatory)
- Inside the waistband (IWB) holster (optional but highly recommended)
For Shotgun Classes:
- Pump or semiautomatic shotgun sling capable (12- or 20- gauge)
- Ammunition holders side saddle/shell caddie/pouch(es)/pockets
- Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
- Clothing suitable for training in any weather
- Eye protection
- Electronic hearing protection
For Rifle Classes:
- Rifle or carbine sling capable (calibers supported: 5.56, 7.62 NATO, 7.62×39)
- 3 magazines minimum/bullet button
- Magazine holders/pouches
- Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
- Clothing suitable for training in any weather
- Eye protection
- Electronic hearing protection
For Night Shoots:
- Handheld tactical flashlight with the on/off switch located on the end
- Gun-mounted flashlight for your gun
- Headlamp with red lens cover
- Eye protection, clear
- Optional equipment (but highly recommended)
- Water-hydration system
- Food/snacks
- Hat with a brim
- Knee and elbow pads
- Bug spray
- Beach chair
- Table for gear
- Rain gear
- Range bag
- Cleaning equipment
